I recently watched a video by Norm O’Hara, who shared a simple technique used in his manufacturing company in China.

On their sewing line, when work is handed from one operative to the next, an orange clip is added to show exactly where the next person should start.

Such a simple idea.

But it removes uncertainty, makes the next step obvious and helps the work flow smoothly from one person to the next.

It got me thinking:
